Who is Tracy Reed?

I am a Linux enthusiast, a multi-engine instrument-rated pilot, and a traveller. I am interested in all aspects of computing and technology in general, especially Linux and Free Software. As an avid pilot I can be found somewhere over the skies of the southwestern US most weekends.  As a traveller I have been to many interesting places. Check out my photo gallery. Want to get me something cool? Check out my Amazon.com wish list!

by Tracy R Reed — last modified Jan 01, 2009 11:48 PM

The former Hourglass Field is a block away from my place and served an important role in aviation training in San Diego, hosted drag races, caused a riot involving 3000 people on El Cajon Blvd, and is now almost completely forgotten as strip malls and housing take over the landscape. read more...

Silence On The Wire

by Tracy R Reed — last modified Jan 01, 2009 11:48 PM

Some months ago a fellow KPLUGger won the book "Silence On The Wire" at a raffle. The book publishers are very kind and send us books as long as we provide feedback in the form of a review.
